Thursday April 17 - 8 PM
Poetry and Zikr - Vajra Barbara Schmitz will open the evening with some readings of her own critically acclaimed poetry. Then Shahabuddin Less will lead us thorugh the traditional Sufi practice of Zikr, whereby we remember our Divine heritage through the use of sound and ancient Names of God.

Friday April 18 - 8 PM
Concert by HuDost - with sacred dancing by Sarasota's own Dr. Marguerite Barnett and professional dancer Sharifa Felicia Norton

Saturday April 19 - 8 PM
Indian classical music concert - Pandit Mukesh Desai, an internationally acclaimed performing artist and teacher of Indian classical music, is a foremost disciple of India’s renowned musician Pandit Jasraj. He has been teaching and performing in the West for over twenty years. Through the quality of his voice and the creative inspiration of his music and teaching style, he has the rare ability to communicate the essence of music directly to the hearts of his listeners. It is an honor and blessing to here Mukesh live.

All evening events are included in the registration fee for the Caravan. If you are planning to come just for the evening, admission is $20 per night. There is limited space for the evening events, and the only way to guarantee your seat is to pre-register. You can pay online or mail us a check to reserve your seat.
